Welcome
Welcome to the web page of the Southend Section of the Forty Plus Cycling Club. We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9.30 am in Rayleigh High Street at the top of Crown Hill and later usually join up with others at the Rettendon Roundabout (the old Turnpike) and at the elevenses stop. As well as the Southend area we have riders from other places in Essex such as Woodham Ferrers, Wickford, Basildon, Billericay, Chelmsford, Danbury, Canvey Island and Writtle. We stop for lunch usually at an Essex pub. Details of the runs can be seen by following the link above.
New members are welcome and the Section Secretary (telephone number above his picture) will be pleased to hear from you if you are interested.
There are fifteen autonomous sections in the Forty Plus Cycling Club including six in Essex. There are more details on the Forty Plus web site
